Elva Akinyi Olunga, a young woman who died under mysterious circumstances, was finally laid
to rest on Sunday, February 26 at her parent’s home in Alego.
Although it’s still not clear how she died, many suspect foul play as she had been receiving death threats from a certain man
whom she was allegedly having an illicit affair with.
The said man took to a popular Facebook page sometime last year to air their dirty linen in public.
He said they started seeing each other in 2010 after meeting on Kisumu Dads. Before they knew it, they were already dating – never mind the fact that they were both married.
According to reports, Elva would be seen driving his Mercedes Benz around and he took her for luxurious trips around the world, for example they once visited Dubai.
However, things went south when the lady called it quits. Apparently, he was trying to force her to have his children but she was not for the idea.
Feeling cheated, since he had spent a lot of money on her, the man took to Facebook to air their dirty linen.
He vowed to revenge and giving an example of another lady who did the same thing to him only to be found dead and “buried like a dog next to a toilet.”
He also said that he would pee into Elva’s mouth in the morgue while adding that he hates her like a mad man.
Things were quiet for a while until February 10 when news broke that she had passed away around 9 am. Elva is survived by her three children. May her soul rest in peace.
Drama as Traffic police officer clashes with his friend who failed to impregnate his wife after 75 serious attempts in a span of 10 months
A certain Evans Mastano has faced off with his friend and close neighbor who paid him to impregnate his wife.
30 year old Darius Makambako, a traffic police officer in Tanzania, approached Evans
to knock up his wife after he learnt that he couldn’t sire kids of his own.
Mr. Makambako, who had unsuccessful tried to get a child
for the six years that he married his 28 year old wife Precious, had been told by a doctor that he was sterile before he approached his friend with a generous preposition.
He paid Evans 2 million Tanzanian Shillings (equivalent to Kes 10,000) to knock up his wife. Media reports say Precious, a nurse at a private clinic, decided to get a three months vacation leave (March to June 2016) to dedicate her time to sleeping with her husband’s best friend and neighbor in order to have her first child.
But even after 10 months of vigorous drilling, Evans still couldn’t impregnate
Precious despite fathering two kids with his own wife. He slept with Makambako’s wife a record 75 times for the 10 month period.
Makambako insisted that Evans should undergo medical examination after he failed to knock up his wife, and he did in January 2017.
The doctor’s report that Evans Mastano was also sterile shocked everyone except his wife, who was forced to confess that her husband was not the real father of their two children. Apparently she secretly slept with Evan’s cousin Edward who impregnated her twice.
“I was forced to secretly sleep with her first cousin for these two children after realizing that my husband could not impregnate me for two years”, Evan’s wife Angela told the Dar-es-Salaam Today News.
Makamboko has now resorted to suing his friend for breach of contract in an effort to get his money back. Evans has however refused to refund Makamboka because he claims that he did not guarantee conception, but only that he would give an honest effort.

9 cows got killed and a white Toyota Fielder reduced to a junk of scrap metal.
The cause of the accident which happened on the busy Ruiru-Kiambu Road has not been immediately established but many speculate the driver could be at fault.
The driver of the white Toyota Fielder survived the freak accident, he however fled before the police arrived at the scene of the accident.

The sad story of baby Brian who’s mum passed away in a grisly road accident in Ruiru and who has since succumbed to Brain damage a year later
A somber mood has engulfed the whole of Kenya and this is after the passing on of Baby Brian.
Now for those of you who don’t know who Baby Brian is, he made headlines a year ago after he and his mother were run over by a speeding motorist along the Ruiru Kiambu road.
The mother died on the spot but Baby Brian survived. He was admitted to Kenyatta hospital for 5 months
and discharged.
Around September last year however, Baby Brian was rushed back to hospital by his grandmother after his condition worsened.
This was brought to the attention of Kenyans who in turn raised 2 million to cater for Baby Brian’s medical bills.
After that the story of Brian died down with only constant photos of him being admitted at Gertrude being shared on Facebook.
Yesterday however, the family spokesperson Ndung’u Nyoro came forth with bad news, Baby Brian aka Champ Brian has finally succumbed to brain damage.
This is what he posted on Facebook:
We accept the will of God #ChampBrian, rest in eternal peace.
It’s been one year of fighting. Since that accident in January 2016 you have been in theatre more times you than have visited your grandma’s home.
We thank God for your life. Your warm smile kept our hopes alive. But God wanted the best for you.
We walked the journey with you handsome boy, we release you in belief we shall meet someday. Pass our greetings to your mum.
Fare thee well BOY.”
This heartbreaking message brought to an end the sad tale of Baby Brian.

Trymore Chibwe life took a different turn when he hooked up with a married sugar mummy in 2012 while he was still in class six.
Chibwe
revealed that 40 year old Memory Tete would make him smash her 10 times a day during which she harvested his sperm and sold it afterwards.
According to Zim News, Chibwe and Tete appeared before the Masango village court in Zimbabwe on Wednesday after the 19 year opened up about his affair with the married woman.
The court, which is headed by the village headman Caleb Masango, gave the two a chance to explain their side.
“It started well in my life as memory took me to her home when I was in grade six. I was going to school at the same time herding cattle.”
“We started having sexual intercourse in 2012 and would do 10 rounds per day. She would stock the sperms and then go to South Africa to sell them.”
“My father caught us red handed having sex in 2014. He was passing by and he heard the explicit sounds and forced his way into the house where he caught us pants down.”
“He lodged a complaint with the police but they never took it seriously because she is so influential in the society.”
“After I finished my grade seven, I got $30 from the woman for the services I rendered, so I left to my uncle’s place to stay but the woman still followed me, pleading for me to come back since I had witnessed her dumping a foetus at her homestead.”
“But problem started when the woman dated Mafana Gideon who threatened and chased me away.”
“I kept on demanding my money but Gideon continued to threaten me and now I am failing to sexually satisfy my wife whom I married,” the teenager told the Masango village court.
Meanwhile, Tete revealed that she was forced to date other men since her husband who stayed in South Africa was starving her.
She admitted dating Chibwe but refuted claims that she used to harvest his sperm and sell it in South Africa.
“On allegations that I have been harvesting sperms, Chibwe
is only after finding ways to tarnish my image after he learnt that I was dating another man.”
“He is still pestering me for sex and I am denying he visit me anytime even during the day until one day that he clashed with one of my lovers.”

Genes - the DNA type
Cells can experience uncontrolled growth if there is damage or mutations in the DNA, and therefore, damage to the genes involved in cell division. Four key types of genes are responsible for the cell division process: oncogenes tell cells when to divide, tumor suppressor genes tell cells when not to divide, suicide genes control apoptosis and tell cells to kill themselves if something goes wrong, and DNA-repair genes instruct cells to repair damaged DNA.
Cancer occurs when a cell's gene mutations make the cell unable to correct DNA damage and unable to commit suicide. Similarly, cancer is a result of mutations that inhibit oncogene and tumor suppressor gene functions, leading to uncontrollable cell growth. If you have DNA mutations of oncogenes or tumor suppressor genes that lead to pancreatic cancer, it is likely that the mutation was a result of factors that affected DNA after you were born rather than a result of inheritance from parents.
Genes - the family type
Cancer can be the result of a genetic predisposition that is inherited from family members. It is possible to be born with certain genetic mutations or a fault in a gene that makes one statistically more likely to develop cancer later in life. About 10% of pancreatic cancers are though to be caused by inherited gene mutations. Genetic syndromes that are associated with pancreatic cancer include hereditary breast and ovarian cancer syndrome, melanoma, pancreatitis, and non-polyposis colorectal cancer (Lynch syndrome).
Carcinogens
Carcinogens are a class of substances that are directly responsible for damaging DNA, promoting or aiding cancer. Certain pesticides, dyes, and chemicals used in metal refining are thought to be carcinogenic, increasing the risk of developing pancreatic cancer. When our bodies are exposed to carcinogens, free radicals are formed that try to steal electrons from other molecules in the body. Theses free radicals damage cells, affecting their ability to function normally, and the result can be cancerous growths.
Other medical factors
As we age, there is an increase in the number of possible cancer-causing mutations in our DNA. This makes age an important risk factor for pancreatic cancer, especially for those over the age of 60. There are several other diseases that have been associated with an increased risk of cancer of the pancreas.
These include cirrhosis or scarring of the liver, helicobacter pylori infection (infection of the stomach with the ulcer-causing bacteria H. pylori), diabetes mellitus, chronic pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas), and gingivitis or periodontal disease.
Traits, habits, and diet
Pancreatic cancers are more likely to exist in men than in women, and among African-Americans than among whites. Smoking cigarettes increases one's risk of pancreatic cancer by a factor of 2 or 3. Even smokeless tobacco has been noted as a risk factor.
Diet and obesity have also been linked to cancers of the pancreas. People who do not exercise much and who are obese are more likely to develop pancreatic cancer. In addition, those who eat diets low in vegetables and fruits and high in red meat and fat are more likely to be diagnosed with the disease. Alcohol consumption is also considered a risk factor for pancreatic cancer. Long term, heavy drinking leads to chronic pancreatitis, which is a known risk factor for pancreatic cancer.
Symptoms of pancreatic cancer
Cancer symptoms are quite varied and depend on where the cancer is located, where it has spread, and how big the tumor is. Pancreatic cancer is often called a "silent" disease because it rarely shows early symptoms and presents non-specific later symptoms. Tumors of the pancreas cancers are usually too small to cause symptoms. However, when the cancer grows, symptoms include:
- Pain in the upper abdomen from the tumor pushing against nerves
- A painless yellowing of the skin and eyes and darkening of the urine called jaundice, created when the cancer interferes with the bile duct and the liver.
- Loss of appetite, nausea, and vomiting
- Significant weight loss and weakness
- Acholic stool (pale or grey stool) and steatorrhea (excess fat in stool)
These symptoms of pancreatic cancer have numerous other causes, making it difficult to diagnose the disease before it is in an advanced stage.
Cancers of the pancreas are also associated with Trousseau's sign - spontaneous blood clots formed in the portal blood vessels, deep veins of the arms and legs, or other superficial veins. Clinical depression is another symptom that is sometimes reported before the cancer is diagnosed.
If the cancer spreads, or metastasizes, additional symptoms can present themselves in the newly affected area. Symptoms of metastasis ultimately depend on the location to which the cancer has spread.
Islet cell or neuroendocrine cancers of the pancreas may cause the organ to produce too much insulin or hormones. This may lead to weak or dizzy feelings, chills, muscle spasms, or diarrhoea.
