A crowd of about 1,000 people is marching to Raila Odinga's office to dump the shells of two matatus burned during Monday's anti-IEBC protests.
Starehe MP Maina Kamanda is leading the youths and business owners in the march to the Cord leader's Capitol Hill office in Nairobi.
Most matatus that ply the Huruma, Kariobangi and Kayole routes are in the procession.
The crowd's first plan to go to Parliament to present a petition seeking compensation for property destroyed during the demonstrations.
"I am leading about a thousand people so that we can drop a petition and then proceed to drop the burnt vehicles at Raila's office," said Kamanda.
One person was shot dead in Kisumu during the protests pushing for the removal of IEBC Commissioners.
Matatu owners association chairman Simon Kimutai on Tuesday threatened to mobilise youths to protect property during the Cord's demonstrations.
"We are saddened by the turn of events where we are losing our properties. We have not interfered with anyone. We are not violent. But we will protect our business. We are ready to face anyone who will get aggressive and attempt to destroy our business," Kimutai said.

And the struggle continues; someone tell Maina Kamanda to stick to war mongering and hate speech for he knows nothing about Demonstrations.
ReplyAs you ferry that wreckage of an old matatu, which we believe was stolen, we will demand you tell us how much is the cost of one human.
